Statement of Purpose
The RPA is a nonprofit organization incorporated in 1993. It
is a successor of the Asphalt Rubber Producers Group founded
in 1985. Its purpose is to encourage the increased and proper
use of asphalt pavements containing recycled rubber. RPA shares
information with agencies and individuals throughout the world
on proven technologies of constructing pavements containing recycled
scrap tire rubber. RPA members provide guidance to all agency
policy makers on means of ensuring quality control and capacity
of these processes while encouraging their use. RPA is comprised
of companies, organizations and individuals involved in producing
asphalt pavements containing crumb rubber from scrap tires.
