Foreign members get voting
option
Asphalt-Rubber contractors and crumb rubber
producers domiciled outside the U.S. will have the option of
voting membership under a resolution passed by the RPA Board
of Directors at its meeting in September.
According to Ross Kashiwagi, RPA secretary,
the foreign members will be given the option to remain as "associates",
or become "regular' members.
The resolution was a result of the expressed
desire of several non U.S. companies to have a more active role
in the development of the industry.
"Should the companies opt for full membership,
their assessments will be placed in a special "self-directed"
account to assist in the Asphalt-Rubber education and market
