The photo is the award winning ADOT AC and Asphalt-Rubber Friction Course project constructed by FNF Construction, Inc. in 1996 on the I-10 near Quartzsite in La Paz County, Arizona. According to ADOT this project had the lowest Mays-Meter reading and the high incentive value per mile of any similar project. The Mays-Meter reading prior to the overlay was 82.5 inches per mile and the post paving reading was an impressive 20.3 inches per mile. FNF Construction received the "Quality in Construction" Award from NAPA for this project.
