Description The in-situ pavement retread process consists in recreating, from a damaged pavement unsuited to usual traffic, an homogenous and stable structure. Existing materials are therefore retreaded in-situ with a binder and possibly complementary materials in order to obtain a new road base or sub-base. Retreading makes it possible to restore the pavement bearing capacity and profile while limiting the need for fresh aggregate and modifying geometrical characteristics as little as possible.
