| Description | This report describes the evaluation of STYRELF, an asphaltic binder obtained by modifying relatively soft asphalt cement with styrene-butadiene block co-polymer or elastomer. Secondary additives, in relatively low quantities, may also be incorporated in the STYRELF system. Three testing steps or phases were utilized in this evaluation. Tests results, data analysis and detailed descriptions of testing procedures of three testing phases are presented in three separate but interrelated reports. |
